Through the depth of conscious the phoenix rises

When do we learn?

I ask myself this often. Is it through all my successes? No. In success the lesson lays deep and often forgotten. We celebrate our achievements and forget the pains we go through to end our journey. Are we all superficial? I ask myself. Are we ignorant and doomed to repeat the same mistake over and over. When will it stop? Then I realize.

No. It is pain that halts stupidity. Once we touch a hot kettle, it will not happen again. Once we failed in our quest, whatever it was that resulted in the failure, becomes a lesson engraved in our mind forever. So this leads me to a simple conclusion then. For us to be successful, we need to keep making more mistakes. Simple!

So as this blog witnesses the life and times of Zed, as he would like to remember it, it shall be here then that he logs his mistakes and may others learn from its modest disposition. Today? Trust no one. Yes that would be the lesson for today, as Zed rises from the ashes of camaraderie and learns that the world is not lonely after death, but it begins now. Fair weather friends abound - none in sight when tribulations disembarks.

Now to more current events.

Traffic has been horrendous in KL the last two days, so to all of the bloggers currently out of this city, just be thankful that you are not stuck here. As far as the promise of the food from the “Pasar Ramadhan” call me lazy but have you noticed the crowd? The rude, incessant and in some areas obnoxious crowd pushing each other to purchase the best “this” and the best “that”? Is this what fasting is all about?

Food?

fasting is about restrain. fasting is about seeing the worst and the best in others and self (you usually get to see the worst). fasting is about letting your inner demons out and do the work of the devils.

hahahaha

hi comment deleted,

sorry? heh heh hope you get to write back soon =)

hey babe,

decided to get new padlocks for inner demons. but they hooked a bell on me, so can't seem to catch them. thus decided to lock myself up for a while. the world kinda sucks for me rite now anyway heh heh

now going round and round due to depleted sugar in brain, so RANTING is likely to loom its nasty little head!

cheers all.

haha.. i feel guilty for that last word of yours.

"FOOD???"

well, to me, yeah, it's one of the perks of bulan ramadan. of cos, that's not the meaning of fasting. But yeah, food is one of the nice things about ramadan. At least to me.

I'm kinda kewl now... hehe... so where do u buka puasa today?

Thanx for the wish!

And yupp, its best not to trust people. It's good to have one or two persons with whom you can trust your life and deepest darkest secrets, though. Just hope they dont turn around and betray ur trust oso.

Food? PaRam food do not appeal to me. Still waiting for the day I can find good sashimi and sushi at PaRams. Gi posa kat Japan la gamaknya.

anyway, life sux but life's beautiful like that.

there's nothing like a slice of brownie to momentarily cure you out of your depressive outlook on life.

hi pojan,

ROTFL

okay, as long as we are giving as much as we are taking.

can you do me a small itsy bitsy little favor? if you read this reply, can you help to buy an extra murtabak (or anything) and on the way back to the house just give it to someone. doesn't matter who - a security guard, a policeman someone sitting by the street begging, anybody.

please? he he then we have just balanced the food we actually eat (because most of the stuff we buy ends in the trash), and a small token we give away.

the same applies to everyone who reads this. just think of it as my version of a TAG. LOL so now you are tagged! don't forget to give away one packet of food to someone on your way back to the house today.

and also feel free to TAG others. get everyone to share what they bought with somebody, if possible EVERYDAY.

no need to spend RM 1,000 and tell everyone you donated! just be sincere and SHARE.

the first time it will feel weird, but after a while we'll get use to it =) i pwomise...

we are blessed, bless others too.

cheerio!

believe it or not, i have been burned, scalded and much more... yet when it comes to relationships (friendship or love), i never seem to learn. I keep repeating my mistakes.. mainly due to the fact that I have held strongly to the phase "giving them the benefit of doubt". Unfortunately, i've given them more than I should, resulting in deep wounds and scars

Zed said...

well Jo i myself have had it. my doors are closed - maybe sad but also inevitable. for too long i have been handing my hand out only to get spit in return. so my final lesson on this would be to no longer journey out seeking - but true friendship will spawn from the ones that I have now, even amongst new friends. Only time will test the bonds established and time will reveal the depth of the friendship nurtured.

so forsake the scars and fly along. remember a true friend always understands when you have to say NO to whatever their request may be.

cheers.

Zed said...

hi pojan,

THANK YOU!!! this means a LOT to me, and especially to the "stranger" that have just received your "gift" =)

and i hope you feel a LOT better too ya' coz it always makes me feel good to give, rather then receive.

so anyone else? don't have to tell me ya' just give... please.

cheers.

don't we sound a little bit too full of ourselves ? hehe.. i don't know man. i really contradict myself way too often. you know what burns most is when ive lost a friend that ive had high regards for, and they just decide to cut you out of their lives. wonder if i deserve it sometimes but i guess they have their reasons.

Puasa is not about food. It's also about anak dara pingitan who solat terawih at Masjid Wilayah.

There goes my terawih pahala.

Treat everything as a lesson and not as fault.

Trust no one?

oooo i too have learned that the hard way. :)

i agree with u on the bad sosial behaviour at the pasar ramadan. they push shove, become rude n sometimes aggressive .. just because they're hungry. this probably shows in the kl traffic as well. city people r impatient, rude n aggressive forget public education, lets introduce more stringent laws now.

kepala_angin said...

i guess never try to be between a hungry man and what his heart desires.. susah. have not been to any pasar ramadhan yet, but so far in years past the crowd at my area are pretty ok.

an0nymous-ign0ranus said...

i dunno of the whereabouts of the ramadhan bazaar in my area, despite having living in the same area for nearly 10 years.

i am so ulu-fied like that. heh heh.

hi teek,

mentally we move on, but sometimes emotionally the scar remains, and only time will provide the opportunity either to heal or to exact vengeance - this perhaps is the measure of a man =)

hi sheryl,

will buzz you if i am coming down to jay bee ok =)

hi Jo,

for too long now i believe in taking the moral high ground and be the bigger man. well, i guess my recent experiences have taught me that it is not worth it.

but i agree with ya' we do end up contradicting ourselves, LOL!

MIV,

Masjid Wilayah you say? hmm...

hi shell,

"Treat everything as a lesson and not as fault."

i like it! yup can't agree with you more =) how is germany this time of year? i would think its getting cold? niceee =) *missing snow*

hi fade0,

welcome! nice site you have bro... heh heh heh. yup when it comes to traffic i agree, its about enforcement. too many people cutting Q's resulting in chaos.

hi windy head,

=) i know a few other things you don't wanna be in between a man with *piak* he he sorry fasting... have fun shopping ya.

hi babe,

ulu-fied? heh heh nice! but you know, looking for the bazaar is real easy. just look for cars parked haphazardly and people carrying plastic bags like they are stocking up food for a month.

selamat berpuasa y'all and have a great weekend!

hi mira,
