Mommy, where will you be?

Mommy...

What if I am scared Mommy?
What if I am sad Mommy?
What if I am hungry Mommy?
What if I am lonely Mommy?
What if I am alone Mommy?
What if I am missing you Mommy?
What if I am sick Mommy?
What if I am lost Mommy?
What if I am crying Mommy?
What if I am in need of a friend Mommy?

Wake up mommy, wake up...
Why are you leaving Mommy?
Please Mommy, where will you be?

mommy is always the best person in our life!

yup, I was inspired when I suddenly felt that the feeling I have for mom, has never wavered - making her the only women who could do that!

so a boy at 5 and a man at 50 will miss his mother equally as much!

Cheers.

Hi Pojan,

Thanks! Am sure you will not pull a Kassim Selamat stunt on your mom, that is usually reserved for MIL! ROTFL!

Anyhoots, the sentiment behind the ode to mom is actually sad... At least the image in my head as I wrote it.

Imagine if you will.

A child, sitting by his mother's bed.

His mom is sick, and dying. Her eyes is closed. Sweat trickles on her forehead. His dad is nowhere to be seen. He is alone.

He is asking her where she is going, because his aunt tells him that his mom is going away. He doesn't know where, nor does he know any better.

He keeps asking her and she remains quiet. So he asks her again, and yet again.

Then he pleads for his mom to wake up. And she lies still in her bed. He asks her why she is leaving because he thinks that he did something wrong. Then he asks her where she is going, because he wants follow. An innocent eyes trickles tears, and feels like his whole world has collapse as he watch his mom lie still, and he wonders what he did.

We only miss our loved ones when we know they will be leaving us, this is sad. Love them now, before it is too late - as it has been for many.
